1、 Installation precautions

（1） Basic installation

The screening machine must be installed on a flat foundation. If the foundation is uneven, it can cause the machine to shake during operation. For example, for a vibrating screen material machine, an uneven foundation may cause uneven stress on the vibrating components, accelerate the wear of equipment parts, and even lead to safety accidents. Before installation, it is necessary to measure the foundation surface with a spirit level to ensure that the levelness error is within the allowable range. Generally, it is required that the levelness error does not exceed ± 3mm per meter of length.

Robustness

The solidity of the foundation is crucial. Because the screening machine generates vibrations and dynamic loads during operation, the foundation needs to be able to withstand these forces. For example, for large industrial screening machines, the foundation is generally poured with concrete, and the strength grade of the concrete must meet the design requirements. When pouring the foundation, it is necessary to reserve sufficient anchor bolt holes according to the size and weight requirements of the equipment to ensure that the screening machine can be firmly fixed on the foundation.

（2） Equipment assembly

Component inspection

Before assembling the screening machine, it is necessary to carefully inspect each component. Check whether the screen mesh is damaged or deformed, and whether the performance of key components such as vibration motors is good. For example, for a circular vibrating screen, if there are minor damages to the screen mesh, it may cause unqualified materials to pass through during the screening process, affecting the screening quality. At the same time, check whether the tension of transmission components such as belts, chains, etc. is appropriate. Too loose may lead to a decrease in transmission efficiency, while too tight may accelerate component wear.

Correct assembly sequence

Assemble correctly according to the installation instructions of the equipment. Generally, the main frame is installed first, followed by the installation of vibration components, screens, etc. When installing a vibration motor, attention should be paid to the installation angle and position of the motor to ensure that the vibration force generated can be evenly distributed on the screen. For example, for a linear vibrating screen material machine, the two vibration motors must have opposite directions of rotation, and the vibration direction must maintain a certain angle with the plane of the screen mesh, so that the material can make effective linear motion on the screen mesh and achieve good screening effect.

2、 Venue requirements

（1） Space requirements

Operating space

Adequate operating space needs to be reserved around the screening machine. Generally speaking, it is necessary to ensure that operators have sufficient space at the inlet, outlet, and maintenance doors of the equipment to connect, inspect, and maintain the material conveying equipment. For example, at least 1-1.5 meters of space should be reserved on one side of the feeding port for installing feeding devices such as belt conveyors.

Ventilation space

In order to ensure the normal operation of the screening machine, the site should have good ventilation conditions. Because dust may be generated during the screening process, good ventilation helps to spread the dust and reduce its accumulation around the equipment. For example, when installing a screening machine indoors, ventilation equipment such as exhaust fans needs to be installed, and the ventilation volume should be determined based on the processing capacity of the screening machine and the characteristics of the materials.

（2） Environmental requirements

temperature and humidity 

The screening machine has certain requirements for the temperature and humidity of the working environment. Generally speaking, a temperature range of -10 ℃ -40 ℃ is more suitable. If the temperature is too high, it may affect the electrical component performance of the equipment, such as causing the motor to overheat; If the temperature is too low, some materials containing moisture may freeze, affecting the screening effect. In terms of humidity, excessive humidity may cause materials to stick to the sieve, reducing screening efficiency. Therefore, it is best to control the relative humidity of the site between 40% and 80%.

Dustproof and Waterproof

The venue should try to avoid interference from dust and water as much as possible. Excessive dust entering the interior of the equipment may clog the pores of the sieve, affecting screening accuracy and increasing equipment wear. For some screening machines installed outdoors, waterproof measures should be taken to prevent rainwater from entering the interior of the equipment, damaging electrical components, and causing moisture to the materials. Protection can be achieved through methods such as building rain shelters.
